A native of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, Dinny graduated from Coe College in Iowa with a bachelor’s in English. She worked at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Dinny later relocated to Albany and worked at Equinox, Inc. She briefly worked for Hospitality House, leaving to return to school at SUNY Albany where she earned her master’s in social work. She also has experience from Oasis, Inc. and opened a private practice, specializing in working with survivors of sexual abuse. Dinny returned to Hospitality House and worked for 18 years before coming to Hope House in 2014. Dinny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Master Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor.
